SHOP TO CHASE A PROPHECY
ABOUT THE SHOP
The editions below are all the special editions of To Chase a Prophecy, meaning they all come with the bonus alternate POV chapter at the end. This is my thank-you to readers for shopping directly from me.
And if you're wondering if you're seeing double—yes, you are. You're actually seeing quadruple, because To Chase a Prophecy comes in two formats: paperback and hardcover. There is also an option to have your paperback or hardcover version with sprayed edges* hand-done by me! Please be sure to check the format before placing your order so you get the exact copy you want.
When you check out, you'll have the option to request a signature and if you want the book personalized by me. Shipping times will vary, but I aim to fulfill orders once a week after release, depending on stock. All books will be sent via USPS media mail service, which can take longer. A flat fee for shipping is charged, and should the cost go over, I will personally take on the extra cost. An email will be sent with the tracking code once the book has been shipped.
Book mailings will happen once every week for the previous week's orders, if not sooner. An update will be posted here if anything changes to fulfilling orders.
UPDATE JULY 7, 2026: I am currently preparing for my launch party (woot woot!) and so my current stock, as of now, is reserved for this event. I do have more books coming in, but these will take extra time to spray the edges, dry, and send out. Please be patient with me as I figure out how to become both the publisher, distributor, spray edge factory, mailer, and metadata of my books (along with being the author).
*A NOTE ON SPRAYED EDGES
Indie publishing, unlike traditional publishing, is often a one-person show, meaning I don't have access to the same printers, design teams, distribution, etc., that other books have. However, this does create some different expectations in the way of quality and cost. Traditional publishers have access to digital printers that can do thousands in an hour and ensure the design is the same on each; I do not.
I am so delighted that I have found a way to "keep up" with the industry in doing my own sprayed edges. All sprayed edges are hand-done by me—I wrap my books myself (re: paper that's littered my living room floor) and use spray paint + an airbrush to make the design. I do my best to maintain quality—making sure the paint doesn't bleed through and the designs are as crisp as possible. However, all books are subject to human error: bleed may occur, designs may have kinks, there may be a splash on the headband of the hardcover, etc. This is all part of having them done by hand rather than a printer.
Following the release on July 7, 2026, there will be a slight increase in the price of the sprayed-edged editions to accommodate for the resources it takes to produce them—supplies, time, and labor. This is so I can keep doing them, continuing to offer them to readers who love sprayed-edged editions of books, rather than removing the option all together. It takes hours of work that I could be giving to writing Book 2, so I am working on ways that value what I invest into it while still keeping the cost to what readers can afford.
